Morgan Black is the Choir Director at Downing Middle School.  This is her second year within the Lewisville Independent School District.

Miss Black grew up in Deer Park, TX, near Houston where she was a choir student of Barry Talley, Stacy Nissen, and Anita Ladd.  After student teaching with Jason Dove (now at Marcus HS), she became a proud graduate of Baylor University where she holds a degree in Music Education.  This is her third year in music education.

When not at Downing, Miss Black spends time with her dogs Ben and Baylor, hanging out with friends and family, singing at church, watching reality tv, and reading Harry Potter and Twilight!
